In February 2024, the Hilltop Hotel, beloved by many, closed due to aging. This is an original cup & saucer set from the long-standing hotel, cherished by numerous cultural figures. I purchased this item new and have kept it carefully stored without using it. While it appears to be in beautiful, new condition, upon close inspection for listing, I found slight chipping on the gold trim of the cups and a scratch of about 1mm on one of the saucers (see photo 6). Both are minor and barely noticeable. The item is very old, and the outside of the box also has some scratches and stains.
