A work from Ginza Obi Atelier Hanamura. This Nagoya obi features a charming design of tulip-like floral patterns and insect motifs that look like they came straight out of a picture book. It has been remade from silk sarasa of an antique obi that was unstitched and washed. The design seems to be copied from a block-printed Indian sarasa, making it a very rare design. The simple warmth of the fabric is also appealing, and you won't get tired of just looking at it. There is overall yellowing on the visible part, but otherwise, it is in good condition.
