Introducing the "Superego," a sound retainer pedal similar to Freeze, named Synth Engine! It can sample and hold input sounds, creating tones like an oscillator or synthesizer. Controls include Speed/Gliss/Dry/Effect and a 3-mode switch, with modes Latch/Momentary/Auto. In Latch mode, the Speed knob becomes the Layer control, and it features an effect loop, allowing you to apply effects to the frozen sound. ■ Controls SPEED/LAYER: Adjusts the fade-in/out of the frozen sound and the volume of the sound before layering. GLISS: Adjusts the speed at which the frozen sound changes to the next sound. DRY: Adjusts the volume of the unaffected dry sound. EFFECT: Adjusts the volume of the effect sound.
