The Bonade ligature gathers the reed's vibrations on two metal rails, resulting in a rich volume and tone. This is a reverse-fit model. Tighten the screw with your right hand. Set it up so that the screw is on the back side of the mouthpiece (the side opposite the reed). Pink gold produces a soft, warm tone. It also responds well and projects sound excellently. Its beautiful appearance makes it a popular finish. I have used it for about a year. There is some wear and tear, but it is still usable. The cap is not included. It will be packaged in the original clear case.
