A set of 14 Wajima-nuri wooden vermilion lacquer chinkin (gold inlay) soup bowls with butterflies and violets. These are very old items, dating back to Taisho 3 (1914), but I believe they are in very good condition. They have a thick vermilion lacquer coating. The simple design of the bowls makes them suitable for long-term use. With 14 bowls, there are plenty to go around, so you could use them at home or give the extras as gifts to your children as keepsakes. How about using them for celebrations or everyday use without the lids?
