Hichiriki reed (lead) I make these using reeds of the highest quality from Udono, dried for 10 years and cut to about 6 cm. I adjust them so that they produce sound, but I think fine adjustments may be necessary, so please keep that in mind. I try to make reeds that don't split easily.
