All the electronic components have been customized to BRENT MASON specifications, and the parts used are also PRS BRENT MASON. This model uses Korina, a rare wood, for the body, and a bolt-on maple neck, which is a rare specification in the PRS lineup. The pickups are 408 and 305 in an HSH layout, and each can be coil-tapped with two mini-switches. The H/S/H pickup configuration, which allows switching between humbucker/single-coil pickups, provides a wide range of useful tones without a drop in volume when coil-tapping.
