I bought this as a scanner for paper documents. It can scan A4 size paper beautifully. You can install the dedicated software from the CD or the internet, and it can do various things like OCR and converting to Word format. I bought it about two years ago and only used it for about 3 days. I tested it just before listing, and it worked very smoothly. It works on both MacBook and Windows. You can scan while checking on the PC screen to see if it's captured correctly. I haven't used it much, so the main unit is in good condition. The box has a few scratches.
