This is a concert ukulele from Saiun Stringed Instrument Workshop, a ukulele and guitar maker in Yamagata, Japan, known to be used by ukulele player IWAO. It was ordered about a year ago and just recently completed. However, my musical tastes have changed in the meantime, so I'm reluctantly putting it up for sale. I hope someone will play it. Special 15-fret specification. Spruce is used for the neck, neck block, and end block to reduce weight. Despite using Gotoh UPT tuners, it's light at 372g and well-balanced. Also, the bridge plate under the top has been intentionally omitted for a light and lively sound.
