This is Noritake from 1955 (Showa 30). It has a simple design of pure white with gold lines, but the bottom of the cup and the saucer have a square design. It's simple, yet beautiful in form. It seems that saucers without a cup indentation were popular around this time. The cups are also large, so you can use the saucers to hold desserts.
