1966 (estimated) SG Melody Maker. (Serial number 53xxxx) This is a guitar with a wonderful sound, utilizing the high-quality materials of 1960s Gibson, featuring a one-piece mahogany neck and body. It's also recommended for those considering a Les Paul Junior, etc. Nut width is approximately 40mm, string height is approximately 1.1mm on the 1st string, 1.6mm on the 6th string, and the weight is approximately 3.0kg, making it easy to play and lightweight. (Measurement error may occur) The color is the original Fire Engine Red, and it's a rare model with the finish extending to the back of the neck. The weather checking and scratches give it an outstanding atmosphere, and the feel of it in your hands is something only a well-played vintage guitar can offer. The neck has a surprisingly thick feel and a solid grip. There is no history of repairs such as breaks. The neck condition is good and is almost straight at present. I turned the rod for neck adjustment, but there is still plenty of room on both sides from the current straight state, and the effectiveness is good. Originally it had one pickup, but for practicality, the following modifications have been made: 1. Strap Pin Replacement: Gibson genuine bronze color The front and center cavities were done by a skilled repair shop. The woodwork is tight and careful. Refretting was also done by the same workshop, and the finish is very good. The front pickup is a Fender-style structure with the Lindy's pole pieces themselves being magnets, which is not often seen these days, and it has a thick, clean Strat-like sound with high resolution. The rear is a Duncan, which has a solid mid-range but also has good sound抜け, and a rough sound suitable for 60s rock and punkish chord work. The mix feels like a Telecaster, and it can be used widely from backing to lead. No accessories. Will be protected and shipped in a cardboard box.
