This is a fukuro obi (formal obi) that was stored at my parents' home. The gold and deep, dark purple background colors create a calm atmosphere. Is it a gosho-guruma (imperial carriage) design? It has a formal and composed image. Would it be suitable for a visiting kimono (homongi) or similar? It seems to have been worn a few times at my parents' home, and there are some fold lines and slight knot marks, so I'm offering it at a reduced price as "slightly damaged."
