This is a haori and michiyuki coat with a vermilion wave pattern. It has been stored in a home tansu (Japanese chest of drawers, see photo 9) for a long time and is a new item with the basting threads still attached. Size: Flat measurement Length...approx. 86cm Sleeve length...approx. 67cm Sleeve length...approx. 49cm Sleeve width...approx. 33cm Please forgive any slight errors as this is amateur measurement. Both the outer and lining are clean with no stains, and can be worn as is. It has an old-fashioned hook closure and a hidden pocket, and is practical with a string of the same pattern as the lining inside to fasten it. The material is unknown, but I think it's silk as it was prepared by my parents. I have no plans to use it myself, and I would be happy if someone likes it.
