Yamato Michi's original 5-pocket design efficiently stores essential items for hiking without interfering with leg movement. The smartphone pocket on the side of the pants, in particular, is placed in a perfect position that won't swing even when running and won't be sat on when sitting. The large pocket designed for mountain maps can also hold a water bottle. Pertex Equilibrium is used as the material, achieving a significant weight reduction of about half compared to the 5-Pocket Pants. Without using polyurethane, which is often used in stretch materials but inevitably deteriorates over time, slight stretch (2-way) is achieved through false-twist processing at the yarn stage and optimal weaving design, without hindering intense movements such as leg lifts. The thin and very lightweight Light 5-Pocket Pants have excellent quick-drying performance and dry in an instant even when wet. Mesh elastic is also used for the waist, which generally tends to dry slowly, further enhancing quick-drying properties.
