This is a record of the theme song from "Judo Ichizensen," a legendary sports drama created by Toei's Kamen Rider staff. Kenichi Sakuragi of "Keiji-kun" fame played the main character, with Fuyukichi Maki, a legendary supporting actor from historical dramas in his junior high school days, and Akira Nagoya playing the judo club teacher in high school. The opening intro is slightly different from the TV version, but it's interesting that it varies because various record companies released the theme song for the same program back then. I didn't like the ending song, "Kimi yo Nakanaide," as a child because it sounded old-fashioned, but now that I'm an old man, it really touches my heart when I listen to it again.
