I'll skip her 2nd photobook as it's not as rare (though not impossible to find), but you can see a shift in direction from her 1st photobook, which featured her body in a lively outdoor setting, to a more introspective approach, trying to appeal to emotions. She announced her retirement from gravure modeling two years later, but I recently had the opportunity to learn about her current activities. First, she appeared in the morning drama "Anpan." When gravure idols retire, they usually transition to variety show personalities or actresses, but she hadn't given up on acting. It probably wasn't a major role, but it's a good opportunity to be in an NHK morning drama. Then, under the name "Sara Oshino," she suddenly returned to gravure modeling in the April issue of Weekly Playboy this year, and appeared on the cover of Young King last month. Following that, a digital photobook was released in September. She's still only 30 years old, and judging from her promotional materials, she's maintained her figure (she previously stated her measurements as 92G-58-86). However, she's also currently holding solo exhibitions as a calligrapher, so what is her intention or goal? I don't know the details, so I can't say for sure, but I feel a slight sense of unease at the moment. I can't help but suspect, "Did she mess up with a sponsor?" But if this leads to a second breakthrough, I'll have no choice but to take my hat off to her.
