Purchased at a local souvenir shop during a stay in Moscow, Soviet Union, in the early 1960s. Stored at home unused until now. A traditional Russian folk craft made in the village of Zhostovo, near Moscow. Trays and plates with paintings of flowers, berries, and fruits on iron plates. The paper packaging also has patterns and is cute, but there are some stains and tears. Zhostovo painted trays are enjoyed not only as practical items but also as wall decorations for their beauty.
