Shigeharu Nakano (January 25, 1902 - August 24, 1979) was a Japanese novelist, poet, critic, and politician. His representative works include the novels "Uta no Wakare," "Muragimo," "Nashinohana," and "Kou, Otsu, Hei, Tei"; the critical work "Saito Mokichi Note"; and the poetry collection "Shigeharu Nakano Poetry Collection." His younger sister was the poet Suzuko Nakano, and his wife was the actress Izumi Hara.
