This is a CD/DVD player. It does not record. It does not support Blu-ray. It has some scratches, but it can still be used. DVDs recorded at home may take some time to load. Purchased DVDs and CDs can be played without any problems. The remote control has been tested and is working. Batteries are included. The original box is not available, so it will be shipped in a different cardboard box. Thank you for your understanding.
