Purchased some time ago from a US company that handles professional studio sound, these are NOS (New Old Stock) items. Originally used as microphone step-up transformers, these highly reliable transformers were used in professional settings alongside brands like Beyer. Chosen by professionals, they are excellent transformers. Many highly-rated MC cartridge step-up transformers were originally microphone step-up transformers. As shown in the photo, connecting yellow to black provides approximately 10x gain. Although not shown in the photo, connecting green to black or yellow, or connecting the two colors in parallel, provides approximately 20x gain. The impedance is 37.5Ω, making them suitable for a wide range of cartridges from Ortofon to DENON. Although unused, please be aware that these are old stock and may have some minor blemishes.
