The color is closest to the first photo. It appears overall whitish, but there is no fading or staining, and it's a beautiful, deep purple. The fabric shows no deterioration and is in excellent condition. The fabric has a slightly glossy feel. The fourth photo shows the hidden buttons on the front closure. The bottom is like a wrap skirt. It seems to be an old item, carefully made, and I hate to part with it, but I have other similar items, so I'm selling it to declutter.
