This is a long bag for a medium-neck (nakazao) shamisen or a thin-neck (hosozao) shamisen. It was made from fabric that was taken from an unused, unpicked, and washed kimono. There are no stains, and it is in beautiful condition. The pattern is more prominent on the back side. The base color is mustard yellow. It is a rinzu fabric with a ground pattern and a sheen. The lining is from a shibori (tie-dye) juban (under-kimono) fabric. It is unused but old fabric. There are about 3 small, 2-3mm spots, but I don't think they are noticeable. Both the outer and inner fabrics are 100% silk. This is a handmade item created by an amateur as a hobby, so thank you for your understanding.
