The outer fabric is a non-glossy matte black. The collar can be worn as a stand-up collar when buttoned up to the top button. There are four pockets: two on the sides and two inside the chest. There is some wear on the corners of the collar and sleeves. There are small pills inside the side pockets. There is a faint stain on the right sleeve. Home cleaning (using detergent for delicate fabrics, hand washing) caused no particular problems.
