The item I am offering for sale is a Royal Copenhagen 2018 Year Plate, with original box, unused. ~Year Plate~ Royal Copenhagen's year plates have been produced every year since the first edition was made in 1908, without missing a single one. The molds used to produce the year plates are all destroyed at the end of the year's production, so the same plate cannot be made after the following year. The existing plates are only those released during the year of production. ~CHRISTMAS TREE MARKET~ The 2018 Royal Copenhagen Year Plate, which marks the 111th edition, is "CHRISTMAS TREE MARKET". It features a design of a lively Christmas tree market, full of Christmas atmosphere. Size (approx. cm) Diameter 18.3 x Height 2.2 This is an unused item that I purchased as a spare and stored at home in its original box. I inspected it for this sale. Although it is only a personal inspection, it is an unused item, so it is, of course, a very beautiful item like new. The cobalt color has a medium shade, and the design is clearly visible, while also having the soft and textured finish that is characteristic of Copenhagen. (When purchasing handmade items, I examine the stock as much as possible and purchase items from painters who have a soft touch in their brushwork.) The original box has some sticker marks and minor scratches, but it is in a clean condition.
