This is a "Japanese hornet prevention device" purchased from Akitaya Honten in 2020. This is not a trap, so for Western honeybees, separate hornet countermeasures are necessary. In my case, I attached the hornet prevention device to the beehive and then covered the entire hive with netting. The spacing between the wires is 6mm. It can be installed on a commercially available 10-frame hive. Width: 30.7cm Height: 17.3cm Although difficult to see in the photos, there is some rust in places. While the original functionality is intact, this is being sold as a used item. Please consider purchasing with the understanding that it is a used item.
