The processing involves: ① reducing the diameter (φ) of the 10mm diameter barrel (body) to φ8.8mm, ② further reducing this to φ4.8mm with a gentle Fuji-shaped (reverse arc) processing, ③ further reducing it to φ3.4mm, and ④ again reducing it to φ1.6mm in a Fuji shape (right in the diagram). This minimizes the pen obstructing the paper surface, improving visibility on the paper. This precise processing was achieved by using a metal shaft for the approximately 50mm front shaft from the pen tip to the grip and applying the above-mentioned taper processing through machining. When using the eraser, the drive is automatically locked, and the knock is fixed, allowing you to erase the desired area accurately. The mechanism controls the movement of the knock mechanism by the movement of a weight inside the body. Soft, invisible grip processing despite being metal The grip section has a barrel diameter reduced by 0.4mm to stabilize the grip. Furthermore, the surface is coated with soft-feel paint (tactile paint), giving the metal body surface a soft, leather-like texture. The soft-feel paint used is excellent in hydrolysis resistance, and stickiness does not occur even after long-term use. Prioritizing the design as a pen, comfortable grip and practicality have been ensured with soft-feel paint that does not affect the appearance.
