Flathead saddles for Gibson ABR-1 bridges. Made of brass, pre-slotted. What are flathead saddles? These saddles were used from around the time the ABR-1 became wired until the Nashville bridge was introduced. Because the contact area between the strings and the saddle is increased compared to sharp head saddles, the high frequencies are suppressed, so when installed on a Flying V or Firebird, the unpleasant high frequencies disappear, and the sound feels thicker.
