"When the yuzu turns yellow, let's open the tea jar." Omotesenke - Sokan Horinouchi The season for yuzu to ripen has come. Now, let's finally break the seal of that tea jar. This poem expresses the tea master's excited feelings just before the Kuchikiri (opening the tea jar) tea ceremony. I believe this shikishi expresses those feelings and the season.
