Acquired from an antique shop. This is one of the three major earthen dolls of Tohoku, made in Hanamaki, Iwate Prefecture. The model, Daikokuten, is one of the Seven Lucky Gods, primarily known as a god who brings good fortune in money, prosperous business, and a bountiful harvest.
