It has a string tied a few centimeters from the opening. You can adjust the length to some extent by changing where you fold it. Depending on the person, if you prefer to untie the string or pull out the folded-over part to take out the flute, I recommend Type A if it's in stock and the size of your Shinobue flute fits.
