Key Features: This single board replaces the two NEC TOKIN Proadlizers on the PS3 motherboard. This significantly reduces repair time and allows for a cleaner installation. Recommended for beginners. Early PS3 models (CECHA/CECHB/CECHH/CECHL, etc.) use a total of 8 NEC Tokin capacitors: 4 on the RSX side and 4 on the CELL side. The common repair method involves adding a total of 8 capacitors to replace 2 Tokin capacitors. This requires soldering capacitors one by one, often at an angle or after modifying the board (not recommended for individuals). This is a very time-consuming task even for experienced technicians. Even a slight misalignment can affect the appearance, and beginners may encounter incorrect soldering even if it appears correct. With Version ②, you simply remove 2 NEC Tokin capacitors and replace them with this board, soldering it in a few places as shown in the usage examples. This completes the replacement process. If you are replacing all Tokin capacitors, you would normally need to install a total of 32 capacitors, but this product requires only 4. It greatly reduces working time and provides a cleaner and more reliable finish. *A drawback of this product is the lack of Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs), resulting in slightly less decoupling performance compared to the original NEC Tokin capacitors. MLCCs are particularly effective against high-frequency noise, quickly absorbing fine noise and stabilizing the power supply. Therefore, the lack of MLCCs may result in a slight performance decrease in the high-frequency range. Repair parts with MLCCs are also available. However, this is not so much a "drawback" but a comparison to Version ①, which replicates the original Proadlizer's performance. Traditionally, PS3 repairs commonly replaced Proadlizers using only capacitors. Version ② is a product that simplifies the conventional "capacitor-only replacement method".
