This polar bear bank was purchased from an antique shop in Helsinki. It's a rare vintage piggy bank distributed as a novelty item to children of customers by Merita Bank (the predecessor of Nordea Bank) in Finland for seven years, from 1995 to 2002. With its soft cream color, it matches any interior. The adorable bear shape is a characteristic feature, and the design is pleasing to the eye. It's lovely as an accent in a room or displayed in your favorite corner. Unlike the reissued version, it doesn't come with a key from the beginning (because children saved money in the piggy bank and took it to the bank to have it opened and deposited).
