Young Samurai May Doll This is a small young samurai doll. It can be placed in a small space at the entrance or in a room. Originally, on the occasion of the Tango no Sekku (Boys' Day), it was customary to display helmets and bows as a ward against evil spirits during the changing of the seasons, and to pray for good health. The May doll is imbued with the wish to protect one's child.
