It looks black in the photos, but it's dark navy. I bought it about 3 years ago and used it for about 2 years. It's a simple navy design, so I wore it for both work and private occasions. It's 32% wool, so it's warm, and although there's some pilling and signs of wear, it's still wearable. There are no noticeable scratches or stains, but please understand that it is a used item.
