The material is not see-through, and the elastic waistband makes them comfortable to wear. These are the kind of pants you'll want to buy again each season. Used about 5 times, there is some pilling from use, but I believe they can still be worn attractively. As they are made of linen, there are slubs. Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to this. There are some wrinkles, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to them.
