【Rare】Japan Vintage Hard Case, Total Length 115cm, Violin Shape, with Key (Teisco / Kawai / Bass) This is a very old hard case for musical instruments that came out while organizing my father's collection at his parents' house. It has a unique shape, resembling an old violin. I am not familiar with old instruments, so the exact purpose and manufacturer are unknown, but it is a well-made hard case. 【Measured Size (amateur measurement)】 Total Length (inner): Approximately 115cm Maximum Width (inner): Approximately 34.5cm Body Depth: Approximately 8.5cm to 9cm *Please refer to the photos with the measuring tape for details. 【Condition】 I tried putting my Les Paul in it, and while the width fit, there was about 10cm of space at the headstock, and due to the depth, there was a large gap (about 3cm of floating) near the base of the neck (see image). It is probably more suitable for instruments with thicker bodies, bizarre guitars, violin basses, etc. The interior is a vibrant red boa, and it is in relatively good condition for its age. The exterior has tarnishing on the metal fittings due to aging, and there are small scratches on the surface. 【Accessories】 I will include the knob engraved with "TONE" (with LEXCM-2S on the back) and one key that were inside. I looked it up, and the "LEXCM" parts seem to have been standard on the semi-acoustic and violin basses of TEISCO and KAWAI in the late 1960s. 【Notes】 I may not be able to answer specialized questions, but I would like to sell it to someone who can judge from the photos.
