I was using it until recently, so the pistons and slides are in good condition. The piston felts have been replaced with klang brand felts from the original ones. There are some scratches from use, but there are no major dents that require repair. It was overhauled about six months ago at a wind instrument repair shop for about 40,000 yen. In addition, I had it tuned by a wind instrument tuner, and the sound and playability have improved considerably. I have also tried all the settings of the instrument, such as the direction of the slides and the combination of the piston caps, and have found the combination that sounded the best. Therefore, when you wash it after purchase, it may be helpful to note the direction and order. I have used this instrument with great care, so I hope to pass it on to someone who will play it a lot.
