I am unsure if the fabric is silk or synthetic. *This can be worn as a haori (kimono jacket) as is, or the pattern would be lovely for repurposing. *The color appears to be reddish-brown (ebicha), but in reality, it's more of a true brown. *I didn't see any stains or dirt.
