Furukawa Hideo Plus MUSIC: The Season of Recklessness Promo Hideo Furukawa, a writer highly regarded by musicians and music fans alike, has formed a band named "Furukawa Hideo Plus," taking the name from his series of mixed martial arts dialogues, "Furukawa Hideo Plus," which was serialized in "Ex-Po," and has completed a full album!! The album will be released by GRAMoPHONE, a label within HEADZ, the editor and publisher of "Ex-Po," which focuses on words (Gram) and sound (Phone). Furukawa's reading performance, known for his collaborations with Hidenori Mukai of ZAZEN BOYS, Taro Niji-kama (360°records/5H), and Yasufumi Suzuki (aen/Commune Disc), transcends the boundaries of a novelist's reading, surpassing even a rock vocalist, and his awe-inspiring performance is packaged as a wonderful music album by a group of highly skilled members active in various genres. The members include itoken of d.v.d, Harpy, zuppa di pesce, Takashi Ueno of Tenniscoats, and Yasuo Totsuka, the publisher of "nu," designer of "Ex-Po," and also a musician. "MUSIC: The Season of Recklessness" is the audio/sound version of "MUSIC," which is being written as a direct sequel to the 2005 work "LOVE," which won the Mishima Yukio Prize. The text will be released ahead of the printed version of "MUSIC," which will be published in the future, but this is a re-edited and abridged version that has been made suitable for CD, and it contains original text for the CD. In other words, it is a previously unreleased work, and the text is entirely newly written. Recording, mixing, and mastering were all handled by Soichiro Nakamura, famous for his work with Yura Yura Teikoku, Boris, and others (and of course, PEACE MUSIC studio).
