Tsugaru-nuri is generally Karuri (lacquer with a tortoiseshell pattern), but there are also Nanako-nuri, the very rare Monsha-nuri, and Nishiki-nuri. This Monsha-nuri features a pattern created using a special technique of drawing with charcoal powder on black lacquer. It is likely a product of Tanakaya, which was formerly located in Hirosaki City. I listed this before, but since it doesn't have a bookmark, I've marked it as "Near Mint."
