This authentic item was purchased through a resale market with authentication from a France-based appraisal institution. It is a Chaine d'Ancre from the season known as the Margiela era, during Margiela's time at the company, with stamp engravings. While many Margiela-era pieces are currently available, a GM size with an A*D engraving, made in Germany, is extremely rare. The Chaine d'Ancre created in this workshop features angular links following the initial links, making it a very rare piece, different from the current rounded links.
