30s WARDS Western Field Moleskin Hunting Jacket A hunting jacket from the 1930s by Western Field (Montgomery Ward). The outer fabric is a thick moleskin with a rough, textured weave and a brushed back, making it a heavy and warm outerwear jacket. Corduroy is used to line the collar and cuffs. The front placket has a flap, and when fastened, the right side overlaps the left. However, by buttoning it differently, the left side can be on top, as shown in the image. The collar has ear flaps. A 1939-made Deco TALON zipper is used for the inner game pocket.
