Rare item! A 1/10 scale TOYOTA CELICA GT FOUR RALLY radio-controlled car kit from 1991. Never run. The box has scratches and discoloration, but is relatively clean. This is the TA-01, Tamiya's first commemorative 1/10 touring car kit. I purchased it with only the chassis assembled and never run. The chassis is also sparkling clean. It has sponsor stickers that are not found on the current re-release Celica bodies. The wheels are also from that time, and can be reversed to create a deep-rimmed wide specification. The red plastic parts were severely deteriorated due to aging, so they have been replaced with new ones. The damper oil has been replaced with #400 oil and maintained. It comes with the original mechanical speed controller, of course, and the cement resistor is also present. The motor is a 540 Mabuchi motor. Mechanical components are not included.
