It can likely be removed by polishing with nail polish remover, etc. ● Photo 11 shows a red scuff. (It appears to be from rubbing against other dishes, leaving a faint red mark; it's a minor mark and not very noticeable.) ● Scratches As shown in the images, there are scratches on the bottom of the container from storage. As shown in the images, there are paint flecks on the bottom of the main body and the underside of the lid, which occurred during the manufacturing process. These are likely from the gold paint application. As they are evidence of the handmade process, I personally find them endearing as a unique feature (^^) Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. There are no chips, cracks, or stickiness, and overall, the item appears to be in relatively good condition.
