This is chiyogami (patterned paper) made from Echizen washi (Japanese paper) with yuzen dyeing, produced in Echizen, Fukui Prefecture. It is a vibrant chiyogami with gold and silver patterns. (Some of the chiyogami have a raised, foamed finish.) Please give it a try!
