This model was made to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Buck Knives. It is one of 2500 limited edition pieces, with a serial number of 2109. The certificate includes the signature of Charles T. Buck, the then-president of Buck Knives. The blade etching was done by Aurum Etchings of Garland, Texas. The words "THE LEGEND LIVES ON" and the years "1961-1986" are inscribed.
