It was developed as a commercial clock, resistant to shaking, impact, and tilting, and suitable for use in harsh indoor and outdoor environments. In 2022, it received the Good Design Long Life Design Award, recognizing its high visibility and functionality. My father worked in the fishing industry, so I believe this clock was used on a ship.
