It is made of a material that will not break when placed directly on a flame (do not dry-fire). It has been glazed with a brown glaze and fired at 1200 degrees Celsius. 《Uses》 ● Brewing health teas (turmeric, dokudami, senburi, etc.) ● Brewing barley tea ● Boiling water 《Handling Precautions》 ● Be careful of burns as it is placed directly on a flame. ● As it is made of ceramic, it may break if dropped or bumped. ● It is absorbent, so when you start using it, water may seep out slightly, but it will clog up and stop seeping out as you use it. 《Important Notes》 ※ The glaze is hand-sprayed, so there may be some variation in color. ※ The lid is made smaller than the body. ※ The box may have some discoloration due to inventory.
