I used this to decorate my room for my birthday last year. I purchased it on Amazon and strung the string through myself. There are no noticeable stains, but the finish is what it is since I strung the string myself, so I recommend restringing it. There's also a little extra string. There were other accessories like balloons, but I'm only selling the HAPPY BIRTHDAY letter garland.
