A metal portable ashtray from the mid-Showa period in Japan. It is made of cast aluminum and features an oval indentation and a small square outer frame. It is stamped with "MADE IN JAPAN" and a rising sun mark, and the back is embossed with a relief of a sailing ship. It has the unique atmosphere of leisure goods from the Showa era and can be used for display, as a coin purse, or as a photography prop.
